Tignanello Wine

Tignanello Wine Tasting

Tignanello's birth goes back to the 70's, becoming a new type of wine produced from the ancient house of Antinori, taking its name from the Tenuta Tignanello, a production within San Casciano in Val di Pesa town.
This has been the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques for around 12 months and for the further 12 months in bottles.
Tignanello wine is among the most valuable and expensive Italian wines and together with Sassicaia is among the best Tuscan wines mostly awarded worldwide.
The vines cultivated since 1970 by Piero Antinori are the perfect fusion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc aged in barrels and their production derives from the historichal discipline of the Chianti Classico DOCG wine
